Can distance reiki cause the back of my head to become all wet?
A number of times in the morning recently I wake-up noticing the back of my head (hair) is soaked. I do get distance reiki done on me regularly during the overnite hours. Does it sound like it is related? If so, why my hair?
Energy work affects each recipient uniquely. It is certainly not out of the question that what you are experiencing is a result of the distance healing you are receiving. Sweating is one of the ways the body releases toxins, which is one of the intentions of alternative and complimentary therapies.
If you're not experiencing any discomfort or pain associated with this, I wouldn't worry too much. Your best bet is to check with your Reiki professional and ask them what their impressions are while they are sending you the energy. Many practitioners are sensitive to what their client is feeling and may be able to shed more light on the matter than anybody.

Reiki might cause you to sweat profusely if you have a lot of energy flowing through you. Usually this is because it is stagnated. Whoever is working on you, encourage them to use chelation, and focus on each chakra specifically.

Just in case it isn't the Reiki, I'd suggest going to see a Dr to make sure there isn't something else wrong with you. And if you have a strong hunch it's the Reiki, ask them what times/days they're working on you… so that you can have concrete evidence

nathan has an interesting view which seems quite reasonable. assuming significant benefits are being achieved from receiving the energy on a regular basis, this unusual effect should, of course, be overlooked, i would think.
