		<description>You can take classes over the internet/phone/mail (I even offer them) but you&#39;re really better off learning in person if you are an absolute beginner.  The distant attunements work fine..that&#39;s not the problem...the problem is the subtleties of hand positions and the true give-and-take you get in a class with other students which is so valuable to a beginner.
Unfortunately a lot of what is offered for free or low cost online goes along with the old caveat: you get what you pay for.  You&#39;ll get a manual and an attunement and be sent on your merry way with zero training.  That&#39;s fine if you&#39;re just learning a new TYPE of Reiki, but not for a beginner.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;I have 8 Reiki masterships and have taught over 100 people:
