Reiki is universal life energy. It is not personal energy. If you have a Reiki attunement, when you do energy healing you will not use your own energy. If you do not, depending on how you've been trained, you may be (probably are) using your personal energy to heal which isn't good for you.
I'm not sure what you want to "protect" your energy from so I can't answer that.
Your beautiful personal energy is already in you. If by pulling in you mean keep it to yourself and not let anyone touch it, that's done through intent. As is sealing your aura. You learn other aura sealing techniques as part of your reiki training.
You can only temporarily give someone an energy boost with Reiki-it lasts up to 72 hours. The only permanent way is to become a Reiki master and give that person an attunement.
I don't know what you mean by pull someone's energy. If you mean take their energy without permission, that is wrong and should never be done.
