   Reiki is about energy channeling.

   Trust that you will be guided to the correct teacher.

   Lineage is not the most critical thing.

   Choose a path and follow it. If its not for you , make a new choice.

   But most importantly, make a choice.

   Where are you located? I am guessing US–if not, some of this might not apply to you.
   Lineage is unimportant. Once you learn, you can always get re-attuned by another master to change your lineage if that sort of thing is important to you.
   If you have any pagan or new age stores in the area, ask the owner–he or she will know a Reiki master. You can also check with health food stores and nautropaths. All the businesses mentioned with probably carry magazines (free or nominally priced) with ads for local Reiki masters. Also check with astrology clubs and look for local new age fairs, psychic fairs, alternative healing gatherings, and/or lightworker groups.
   If you know a Reiki person, ask them where they learned.
   Reiki works on anything that's alive. Also on crystals and things with electrical systems. All that will be taught to you by your teacher.
   I do teach via long distance if I seem interesting to you.
