Its the practioners choice who they work wih. you have good and bad practitioners in every ascpect of healing. It is wise to get to know them by email before going to them. Some unfortionally are not in Reiki for the heart of healing those around them.

one cool thing about this is that in time you get an overall better well being . and where as in sometimes chemicals can be toxic and detrimental , at the same time if you get your arm chopped off you probably need to go to the hospital .

I would google it. Sometimes wellness shops or new age stores have cards and ads for reiki masters. make sure you have a good feel for your instructor. don’t get a class over the internet or something. and one time i knew a gal who lost a lot of intuition becoming a reiki practitioner. but for the most part it is harmless and has a lot of potential to do a lot of good. i don’t teach any more, but depending where you are i may be able to help you find someone by interviewing them for you

Please ask for the Practtioners or Master to tell you when and where they did learn their levels and also..If u are not confortable..Please Leave…what you are saying is not a “Reiki session”…I am so sad that thing like this happened. People who teach and learn Reiki whant the best for their patients.NOt to suck your energy…that is absolutely someting else..better not call it Reiki..with love Celeste

Sorry, what do u mean saying ” I do practice energy manipulation”?..that is for certain not Reiki.
I am a Master Teacher..and people may get confuse…Doing Reiki is not a manipulation of energy in order to take off you your own.
We are like channels for the energy. If any Practitioner or Reiki Master do sometihnig like Crimszon08 comment “that” is NOT Reiki…

Thank you for your reply and honesty. I knew this was the case when this man dropped so many hints and made a comment about his feeling the energy flowing to him and when asked was evasive as if he did something wrong. Does energy become restored to an unsuspecting innocent person? Thanks again.

Can reiki be misused? A woman was told by a reiki practioner that she has great energy. The woman with her was the disturbed one, yet he did not want to help her. Instead got the woman with the”great energy” to let him do reiki on her not really explaining what or why he was doing it. The woman got ill. The man who did this said he felt reborn, better than he’d EVER felt. Can energy be stolen or misused? Thanks for info,
